Interim Endoscopy RN Manager

This highly respected Northern California medical center is seeking an Interim Endoscopy RN Manager for an exciting leadership opportunity overseeing a growing GI Services program. The Interim Endoscopy RN Manager will join a nonprofit regional medical center known for delivering exceptional patient care across a broad range of specialty services. Reporting directly to the Director of Surgical Services, the Interim Endoscopy RN Manager will provide day-to-day leadership for GI Services while supervising Charge Nurses and supporting a dedicated team of clinical professionals. The Interim Endoscopy RN Manager will collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, perioperative leadership, and multidisciplinary departments to ensure efficient operations, exceptional patient experiences, and seamless coordination of care throughout the procedural setting.

The Interim Endoscopy RN Manager will oversee a busy endoscopy department with approximately 48 FTEs performing more than 6,000 procedural cases annually, along with nearly 3,000 outpatient visits each year. Since the addition of anesthesia services to outpatient endoscopy in late 2024, procedural volumes have continued to grow, creating an exciting opportunity for the Interim Endoscopy RN Manager to lead a dynamic and evolving service line. The Interim Endoscopy RN Manager will provide clinical leadership through staff mentoring, competency development, quality improvement initiatives, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and professional standards. Administrative responsibilities include managing departmental operations, budgeting, staffing, productivity, physician collaboration, and supporting strategic planning initiatives as volumes continue to expand.
