Business Analyst

ITBusinessAnalyst(Procurement&FinanceSupport) TheITBusinessAnalystwillprovidebusiness,financial,andprocurementsupportfortheInformationTechnologyDivision(ITD). Thispositionservesasakeyliaisonbetweenprocurement,finance,andoperationalteamstoensurethetimelyprocessingofinvoices,accountspayabletransactions,andITprocurementactivitiesincompliancewithCommonwealthofVirginia,agency,andVITArequirements. Thecandidatewillberesponsibleforreviewingandprocessinginvoices,reconcilingvendoraccounts,monitoringexpenditures,trackingpaymentactivity,andsupportingbudgetmanagementefforts.Thisincludesreceivingandprocessingpaymentswithinthepromptpayguidelinesaswellastrackingandproducinganalyticreportsformeasuringthevariousareasofproductivity.ThiscandidatewillperformadministrativedutiestosupportthedivisionaswellasVDOTofficesaroundthestatetoincludeprocessinginvoices,respondingtoprocurementinquiriesandreconcilingvendorissues.Thispositionwillworkcloselywiththefinancesectiontobridgethegapfortrackingpaymentsinprocessinordertotiethemtothedivision’sexpendituresandoverallbudget. Thesuccessfulcandidatewillpossessknowledgeofprocurementandaccountingprinciples,stronganalyticalandorganizationalskills,andtheabilitytomanagemultipleprioritieswhileensuringcompliancewithpromptpaymentrequirements,fiscalpolicies,andprocurementregulations.Thisrolerequiresclosecollaborationwithagencystakeholders,vendors,andfinance/procurementstafftosupporttheacquisitionandpaymentofITgoodsandservices. WorkArrangement: Hybridworkschedulewithonerequiredin-officedayperweekinRichmond,Virginia.Additionalon-siteattendancemayberequiredformeetings,training,oroperationalneeds.CandidatesmustresidewithinareasonablecommutingdistanceoftheRichmondmetropolitanarea.
