Assistant/Associate/Full Professor (Tenure or Tenure‑Track) – UNLV School of Nursing Primary responsibilities include: Teaching nursing courses consistent with area of expertise Collaborating with other faculty in course development Using teaching resources such as WebCampus/Canvas to foster learning Providing student supervision Participating in school, university, professional and community service activities Engaging in research leading to publications in quality, refereed journals Seeking internal and external grant funds Qualifications Hold a doctorate in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and/or CHEA Hold or be eligible to obtain a Nevada RN license Undergo a one‑time background check Credentials must be established prior to employment For tenure‑track: terminal degree plus comprehensive experience and research activity For tenured: terminal degree, research activity, and a record of extensive scholarly achievement Diversity and Campus Values Candidate will support diversity, equity, and inclusiveness, contribute to a respectful, positive work environment, and demonstrate the UNLV Campus Values and Rebel spirit.
