Compensation: Monthly retainer + revenue share

The Role

This is a fractional advisory engagement, not a full-time job. It’s built for people from the treatment industry who consult, advise, or hold other roles alongside this work.

You’ll start as senior growth advisor to an established addiction treatment group: a $7.5M detox and residential organization that has trusted us with its revenue cycle for years and has now engaged us to grow census. There’s no sales cycle and no cold start. Several other behavioral health providers in our portfolio are in active conversations about growth services.

You set strategy and direction. Our in-house team handles execution, data, and reporting, including marketing, reputation management, and AI automation for admissions. Your hours go to judgment, not campaign management.

We’re building a bench of behavioral health advisors. As our practice grows, you’ll get first opportunity on new client engagements and a real voice in how we bring on additional advisors.

Your First 90 Days

The first engagement starts with a paid, defined diagnostic so both sides can see how the partnership works before it expands. Deliverables:

• Census and admissions assessment: inquiry volume, call handling, insurance verification speed, and where prospective patients drop off before admission
\n
• Referral audit: where admissions come from, which relationships are strong, and where the gaps are
\n
• Continuum review: how patients move from detox to residential and beyond, and where they’re lost
\n
• 12-month growth roadmap: priorities, owners, and measurable targets
\n

What You’ll Do

\n
• Act as senior growth advisor to our behavioral health clients
\n
• Guide admissions strategy, referral development, and payer-mix decisions
\n
• Direct our marketing and execution team on priorities and messaging
\n
• Meet regularly with client leadership to review progress against the roadmap
\n
• Help us shape and scale our behavioral health growth practice, including how we structure, onboard, and support future advisors
\n

Who You Are

\n
• 7+ years in addiction treatment or behavioral health in a senior operating, admissions, business development, or growth role
\n
• Hands-on experience growing census at detox, residential, or PHP/IOP programs
\n
• A working understanding of commercial payers, Medicaid, and how payer mix shapes growth
\n
• A strong grasp of EKRA, patient brokering laws, and ethical marketing in this industry
\n
• Comfortable advising leadership teams and holding them to a plan
\n
