Who We Are

King of Kings Business & Tax Advisory is seeking a driven, experienced CPA Tax Manager to join our growing advisory firm.

We seek a team member with technical expertise, leadership, and accountability to help build our tax advisory department.

We are looking for more than a tax preparer. We need a tax professional who can independently manage complex business and individual tax returns, oversee tax plan review and deliverables, identify tax-saving opportunities, and take ownership of the quality and accuracy of the firm's tax work.

This position will be responsible for final tax return review and signing, as well as the review, quality control, and delivery of proactive tax plans to clients.

Our firm provides tax preparation, proactive tax planning, accounting, and Fractional CFO services to law firms, business owners, doctors, and professional service businesses.

Who We Are Looking For

Technical knowledge is essential, but drive, ownership, and accountability are equally important.

We want someone who takes ownership of the tax department's deliverables, meets deadlines without constant follow-up, investigates discrepancies, asks intelligent questions, and understands the connection between the client's financial statements, tax return, and tax planning strategy.

This person should not simply roll forward last year's return or accept a tax strategy because it appears on a checklist. We want someone who evaluates whether the position is appropriate for the client, understands the tax implications, and can confidently explain the recommendation.

We want someone who asks: "Does this make sense, is it supportable, and are we maximizing the client's opportunities?"

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required
• Active PTIN and ability to sign tax returns as a paid preparer
• 5+ years of progressive tax/public accounting experience preferred
• Strong experience preparing and reviewing Forms 1040, 1065, 1120-S, and 1120
• Experience with proactive tax planning for business owners and high-income individuals
• Strong understanding of S Corporations, Partnerships, closely held businesses, and pass-through taxation
• Experience reviewing financial statements and general ledgers
• Multi-state tax experience preferred
• Strong tax research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
• Ability to independently manage multiple clients, projects, and deadlines
