Operations Coordinator (Contract to Hire)

Location: Conroe, TX 77303 (100% Onsite) Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour Contract Length: 6 Months, performance based conversion Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM | 1-Hour Lunch Interview Process: In-Person Interviews Only Start Date: Immediate Availability Preferred

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support daily administrative and operational activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for maintaining operational records, supporting inventory and shipping processes, coordinating communications, generating reports, and assisting with various operational functions. The ideal candidate has previous ERP experience, strong organizational skills, and a proven track record of stability in prior employment.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of ERP system experience clearly demonstrated on resume
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and inventory processes
• Strong employment history with demonstrated longevity in previous roles (job hoppers will not be considered)
• Immediate availability to start upon selection
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel

Key Responsibilities

• Enter, maintain, and update data within TAT and JDE systems.
• Generate reports and monitor operational performance metrics.
• Coordinate schedules, meetings, and team communications.
• Process purchase orders, invoices, work orders, and related operational documentation.
• Assist with inventory management, shipping, receiving, and logistics coordination.
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and operational inquiries from employees and customers.
• Organize and maintain files to ensure records are accurate, complete, and current.
• Support management with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Previous administrative, operations, or coordinator experience.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JDE.
• Experience within manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or operations environments.
• Knowledge of inventory control, purchasing, and logistics processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
