Mental Health Therapist

BetterCare Wellness On-Site Full-Time

What You’ll Do

As a Mental Health Therapist, you’ll work directly with older adults in senior living settings, providing counseling services to foster resilience, connection, and quality of life. You’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule and approach, while being part of a collaborative, mission-first team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to older adults in senior living communities
• Conduct assessments and develop personalized care plans
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and facility staff to support continuity of care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards
• Contribute to program development and community outreach initiatives
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training

What We’re Looking For

• Fully Licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC, Psychologist or equivalent) in North Carolina 
• Interest in working with older adults or in geriatric mental health preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
• Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to shape new programs
• Passion for making a meaningful impact in underserved communities
