Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Cardiology

Location: Manhattan & Brooklyn, New York

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP/FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with cardiology experience to join our healthcare team in Manhattan and Brooklyn, New York.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative clinical environment. Experience with urgent care and occupational health is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, physical examinations, and medical histories.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions using appropriate clinical judgment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up care.
• Prescribe medications and treatments within applicable scope of practice and regulations.
• Provide urgent care services when needed.
• Support occupational health-related patient care.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Follow applicable clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Current New York State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Appropriate federal and state credentials required for practice.
• Active DEA registration .
• Current BLS certification .
• Previous cardiology experience required .
• Urgent care and/or occupational health experience preferred.
• Fluent/bilingual in English and Chinese required.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
