Sales Account Manager

Overview Sales Account Manager – Chicago, IL. Drives growth, builds relationships, and helps Redefine Chemical Distribution. Responsibilities Consultative Selling: Cultivate strong relationships with customers by managing and growing accounts. Sales Prospecting: Find new opportunities, win new business, and grow the territory. Customer Experience Advocate: Collaborate with internal teams to deliver top‑tier service, technical support, safe and innovative solutions to customers. Portfolio Management: Prioritize selling time and results to manage your sales funnel and territory. Be relentless to win back lost customers. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a similar B2B role with a demonstrated track record of building relationships and achieving sales targets. Self‑directed and outcome‑focused; initiates, acts decisively and consistently delivers results. Good listener, curious, passionate about learning customers’ needs, solving problems, and winning business. Prepared to conduct effective sales calls, deliver persuasive presentations, handle objections, negotiate, demonstrate value, and close deals. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Willingness to travel within assigned territory. Location Chicago, IL. Flexible dynamic environment. Pay and Benefits Salary range: $91,910 – $101,100 annually with potential for lucrative monthly commissions based on contribution margin.
