Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Professional with a strong background in Nutrition and Food ingredients . The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of technical experience working with R&D teams and other related technical personnel. What You'll Do
- Actively seek out and pursue new business opportunities in the following markets: Dietary Supplements, Sports Nutrition, Human and Animal Nutrition, Food, Flavor, Personal Care, Cosmetics, Lubricants & Metalworking Fluids, or Household, Industrial & Institutional (HI&I).
- Develop and implement practical sales plans , including setting ambitious revenue targets, and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through closing.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key clients , understanding their specific needs and providing customized solutions that align with the company's product portfolio.
- Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains competitive.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams , including product development and marketing, to develop compelling value propositions and effective marketing strategies .
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Science, Nutrition, or Business , along with relevant industry experience.
- 5+ years of outside sales experience selling ingredients into at least one of the following markets:
Dietary Supplements, Sports Nutrition, Human or Animal Nutrition, Food, Flavor, Personal Care, Cosmetics, Lubricants & Metalworking Fluids, or Household, Industrial & Institutional (HI&I). - Established relationships with existing accounts within the assigned territory.
