Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

$2937.60/week - Job Summary: The Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Nurse provides comprehensive care to women throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal periods. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a safe, family-centered environment for patients and newborns. Responsibilities: Assess and monitor patient progress during labor and delivery, responding to any complications. Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, documenting care details accurately. Support families through education and emotional assistance during labor and postpartum phases. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including GYN surgical and pediatric care protocols. Manage neonatal care and assist with postpartum recovery, including initial newborn assessments. Qualifications: Valid, unencumbered Oregon RN license required. Current Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification. AHA ACLS and NRP certification required for AGH LDRP. Preferably holds STABLE certification. Demonstrates strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills. Prior labor and delivery experience is highly preferred.
