Seasonal Packaging Operator

Our Packaging Operators are the behind-the-scenes magicians who are responsible for making sure our brews get packaged and out the door for our fans to enjoy. Primary Responsibilities Equipment Operation Operate kegging and canning equipment, including fillers, depalletizers, carton/tray builders, pallet wrappers, labelers, and conveyors. Ensure proper start-up and shut-down of utilities and machinery. Apply Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Sanitize-in-Place (SIP) principles for equipment cleaning. Maintain line efficiency by managing the supply of empty packaging materials and removing full packaging. Monitor cooperage quality and promptly address any issues. Ensure accurate coding and labeling of containers. Maintenance and Records Perform routine daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Address product quality issues promptly and stop the packaging line if necessary. Maintain accurate packaging logs and records. Deliver top-tier customer service to internal team members as well as external stakeholders who you will regularly interact with. Secondary Responsibilities Keep the work area clean and organized, including regular cleaning of equipment and work areas. Lead by example in upholding the company’s Core Values and fostering a positive working environment. Deliver top-tier customer service to internal team members as well as external stakeholders who you may interact with. Perform other duties as assigned. Quality Assurance Monitor and adjust carbonation and dissolved oxygen levels. Uphold product quality standards and proactively notify the appropriate parties of any potential quality issues. Logistics Support Operate pallet jacks as needed for movement of packaging materials. Assist with accepting deliveries and other miscellaneous warehousing tasks. Cross-Functional Collaboration Be willing to assist in other areas of the brewery as needed to support our efforts to Make It Better. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. Previous warehouse or packaging operations experience preferred. Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills required. Physical ability to handle and maneuver 30lb cases and 165lb kegs. Proficiency in using calculators, computers, and phones. High level of mental and visual attention required for planning and executing complex work methods and sequence. Don’t meet every single requirement?
