The successful candidate will be part of an innovative team committed to providing superior patient care. This role requires a high level of professionalism, technical knowledge, and a commitment to providing a compassionate patient experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in breast interventional procedures, using Hologic equipment, and 3 plus screening and diagnostic experience. Experience in Stereotactic biopsy and ultrasound guided core biopsies is preferred. Responsibilities Performing mammography examinations using Hologic equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Performing diagnostic procedures such as Stereotactic biopsy and ultrasound guided core biopsies. Utilizing Dexa scan technology for bone density assessments is strong plus Assisting physicians with breast interventional procedures. Providing compassionate and effective patient care, including explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Ensuring the quality of mammograms and maintaining accurate patient records. Adhering to all healthcare regulations and standards. Maintaining and operating mammography equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and reporting any malfunctions. Participating in ongoing education and training to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field. Qualifications To be considered for the Permanent Mammography Technologist position, the candidate must possess the following qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist. Proficiency in Dexa, breast interventional procedures, and using Hologic equipment. 3 plus years of experience in screening and diagnostic procedures. Experience with Stereotactic biopsy and ultrasound guided core biopsies preferred. Excellent patient care skills with an ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team. Strong technical skills with an ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and procedures. Current certification as a Mammography Technologist from an accredited institution. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining patient safety and privacy.
