OPD's industry experience, flexibility, and personal attention have made us a preferred partner to our customers and our tight knit, highly productive, team atmosphere makes OPD a great place to work.What You Will DoSome core responsibilities for a Material Helper include:Examine material delivered to jobsite for damagesMaintain status and location of materials.Arrange on site transfer of materials to meet production schedules.Maintain status and location of materials.Monitor and control movement of material upon arrival to the site.We expect all field employees to:Actively participate in a strong safety cultureRecognize safety hazards and risksParticipate in onsite safety meetingsFollow OPD and client safety policies and proceduresBe on time each day ready for workDisplay a positive attitude and be able to work in a team environmentHigh attention to detail to avoid reworks and errorsSome physical demands of being a Material Helper include:Capable of working in outdoor weather and environmental conditions including extreme heat and humidity, extreme cold, and high elevations.Lifting and carrying awkward objects up to 60 lbsStanding for extended periods of time up to 12 hours per day. Moving the entire body. Considerable use of arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending on a regular basis.Use hands to handle, control, and feel objects and/or tools.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Able and willing to work in a fast paced, demanding environment with critical deadlinesHighly motivated with excellent problem-solving skillsMust be willing and able to meet all physical demands of the jobMust be able and willing to attend mandatory safety meetingsWillingness and ability to work in a team environment with a customer focusMust be willing and able to travel and work up to 12 hours a day, 7 days a week when requiredWhat Will Put You AheadPast experience working as a materials helperPrevious experience in Supply Chain and managing inventoryAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
