Overview
An established manufacturing and technology-driven organization is seeking a Finance leader to serve as a strategic business partner across finance, sales, operations, and executive leadership. This role blends commercial finance, FP&A, accounting leadership, and operational analysis to help drive revenue growth, profitability, and business performance.
This position is highly visible within the organization and will work closely with leadership on forecasting, pricing strategy, financial reporting, margin improvement initiatives, and long-term business planning. The ideal candidate brings a strong commercial mindset, enjoys partnering with sales teams, and can confidently communicate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, forecasting, and operational decision-making
• Support budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning initiatives
• Deliver variance analysis, KPI reporting, dashboards, and actionable financial insights
• Partner closely with commercial and sales teams on pricing analysis, revenue forecasting, pipeline reporting, and margin improvement initiatives
• Analyze customer profitability, product mix, and cost-to-serve metrics to support business strategy
• Support business cases for new products, investments, and growth initiatives
• Assist with ERP optimization, reporting improvements, and automation initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, HR, IT, and R&D teams
• Support inventory analysis, manufacturing cost analysis, and working capital optimization efforts
• Prepare executive-level financial presentations and board-ready reporting materials
• Participate in acquisition analysis, due diligence activities, and post-acquisition integration support
• Help drive AI-enabled analytics and business intelligence initiatives across finance and commercial operations
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting team members
Qualifications
• MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or related field preferred
• CPA, CMA, CFA, or CGMA strongly preferred
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience across accounting, FP&A, and commercial finance
• Experience partnering directly with sales and operations leadership teams
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and business partnership skills
• Experience supporting pricing strategy, forecasting, and profitability analysis
• Prior leadership experience within a complex or growth-oriented environment preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to executive and non-finance audiences
• Experience with ERP systems, reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms preferred
