Occupational Therapist, TherapyARMStaffing is looking for an Occupational Therapist, Therapy (M-F 8AM-4:30PM) in Chandler, Arizona.LocationChandler, AZAssignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Schedule/ShiftFull-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Requires one weekend shift per month.Job DescriptionThe Occupational Therapist will be part of a multidisciplinary team, providing specialized therapy services to adult patients with neurological and orthopedic injuries. Responsibilities will include evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic interventions to help patients regain function and improve their quality of life. The position requires collaboration with therapists, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care.ResponsibilitiesConduct evaluations to assess patient needs and develop treatment plans.Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's goals.Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and home exercises.Assist with patient mobility and activities of daily living.Document patient care activities accurately in the EHR system.Required ExperienceMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred. Experience with neurological and orthopedic conditions is highly desirable.Certifications/LicensureValid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required.
