The Manufacturing Plant Manager oversees production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency are maintained in a flat team structure. This role manages 6-15 direct reports, focusing on team leadership, process improvements, and inventory control with minimal travel as most work is completed on-site.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities to meet output and quality targets
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Lead and develop plant staff with a focus on performance and training
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Manage inventory control and supply chain coordination
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime
- Conduct safety training sessions and enforce compliance across teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management
- Strong skills in production planning and quality control
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles
- Demonstrated team leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Experienced in safety management practices
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
