Locums Urology NP/PA Richland, WA (Active WA License Required) Why This Role

Two full-time providers needed
Long-term coverage beginning November 2026
Mix of outpatient Urology and surgical first assist
Consistent weekday schedule
Epic EMR with established clinical support

Assignment Details

Start Date: November 1, 2026
End Date: Ongoing until permanent providers are hired
Commitment: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Weekday Schedule: Monday AiFriday
Shift Options: 8:00 AM Ai5:00 PM or 7:30 AM Ai4:30 PM
Call: 1:4 weeknight and 24-hour weekend beeper call
Call Response Time: 20 minutes
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Clinic Volume: Approximately 22 patients per shift
Surgical Coverage: First assist at least one day per week
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Temporary Privileges: Unavailable
Support Team: Three RNs, nine MAs, and two APPs

Requirements

Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active Washington NP or PA license
Active DEA
Current BLS
Recent outpatient Urology experience
Surgical first-assist experience
Ability to work 40 hours per week
Availability for 1:4 weeknight and weekend call
Hospital privileges required

Clinical Details

Evaluate and manage outpatient Urology patients
Provide inpatient Urology support
First assist during Urologic surgical procedures at least weekly
Respond to weeknight and weekend beeper call
Provide telephone consultations and return to the hospital when required
Coordinate care with Urologists, RNs, MAs, and fellow APPs
No APP, resident, or teaching supervision responsibilities
