Physical Therapist – Outpatient in Juneau, Alaska. This travel assignment starts 08/31/2026 for a 13-week period with guaranteed 40 hours weekly and a rotating 4x10 schedule. Weekly pay ranges from $3,499 to $3,670. The role supports pediatric physical therapy in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, with responsibilities that include evaluations, treatment, and coordination of care within a multidisciplinary team. Flu vaccination and Alaska licensure are required at submission, and onboarding includes fingerprinting-related timelines.

Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric physical therapy evaluations and treatments in inpatient and outpatient settings; develop and实施 a therapy plan of care with measurable goals
- Oversee and direct the work of Physical Therapist Assistants and other designated staff, ensuring evidence-based care
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, identify therapy diagnoses, and implement ongoing adjustments to optimize outcomes
- Document encounters, treatment plans, diagnoses, and prognoses in accordance with department policies
- Collaborate with referring providers and the care team; participate in conferences and rounds; coordinate medical equipment and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families; develop clear home exercise programs and ensure understanding through feedback and return demonstrations
- Assist with administrative tasks, clinic operations, and department activities as needed
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and professional standards (APTA guidelines) and hospital documentation systems

Requirements
- Licensure: Active Alaska Physical Therapist license; required at submission
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; required
- Education: Entry level qualifying master's or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program OR graduate from an APTA-approved program at the master's or bachelor's level with 2 years of proven work and continuing education experience aligning with Doctorate-level knowledge; required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in adult outpatient rehab
- Additional: Valid driver’s license; must be able to work in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings
- Background/credentialing: Must complete required fingerprinting/background processing; start date will be no less than 6 weeks after fingerprint cards are received for processing
