About the Role

We're looking for a driven, relationship-focused Account Executive to help grow our business throughout the United States from our Wilmington, North Carolina office.

This is a strategic, outbound sales role focused on developing new business within targeted accounts. You'll identify opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, uncover customer challenges, and collaborate across departments to create long-term partnerships.

You'll work alongside our inbound sales team, ensuring prospects experience a seamless transition from initial outreach through ongoing account growth.

What You'll Do

As an Account Executive, you will:

• Prospect and develop strategic target accounts through proactive outreach.
• Build trusted relationships with champions, decision-makers, and executive stakeholders.
• Schedule and lead discovery meetings, virtual presentations, facility visits, and strategic business reviews.
• Develop account strategies that create long-term revenue growth.
• Collaborate with engineering, customer service, and internal sales teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities.
• Report weekly on pipeline activity, account health, and deal progression.
• Represent Protocase at trade shows, customer visits, industry events, and networking opportunities.

About You

• Experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
• Strong prospecting and outbound sales skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Confidence engaging with executives and technical professionals.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• A collaborative mindset with a team-first attitude.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits and trade shows.

Manufacturing or technical sales experience is considered an asset but is not required.
