Purchasing Clerk

Keep local manufacturing moving! A specialty packaging and manufacturing facility in North East Philadelphia, PA is hiring a hands-on Production & Purchasing Coordinator to manage raw material orders and align supplier deliveries with daily shop floor production schedules. This is a great opportunity for an organized materials professional looking for fast-paced work with immediate stability and potential for full-time growth.

salary: $25 - $32 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders for raw materials and component inventory based on active production plans.

• Communicate daily with vendors to negotiate delivery schedules, verify pricing, and resolve delays.

• Coordinate inventory arrivals with receiving staff and update MRP/ERP inventory records in real time.

• Monitor material stock levels to prevent production downtime and resolve supply chain bottlenecks.
