Digital Archivist

Language Requirement: Fluency in English is required. Academic Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (preferred). Certifications: First aid, CPR. Work Experience: Required – Minimum 2 years of related experience or training; Preferred – Minimum 4 years. Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to this position. Participate in scheduled meetings, in-service training, and team decisions as needed. Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct, including respecting agency staff, children, and community members, and complying with the required dress code at all times. Maintain confidentiality in all child and program operations. Communicate effectively and professionally by phone or face‑to‑face with agency staff, vendors, community members, and regulatory and contract staff. Compile, prepare, submit, and maintain accurate records, files, forms, statistics, and additional information in accordance with agency policies, licensing, and/or contract requirements. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of child and program operations. Maintain professional and ethical standards of conduct, including respect for staff, clients, and community members, and complying with the required dress code at all times. Other Responsibilities Maintain a comprehensive digital archiving system and retrieve information from files as directed. Receive, track, and respond to high‑volume inquiries and requests for stored records from internal and external agencies in a timely manner. Process raw images using the appropriate software. Complete timely and accurate documentation or training in accordance with agency policies and procedures and contract and regulatory requirements and standards. Meet all deadlines required by program supervisor and federal partners. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Pass a pre‑employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment. Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; the organization is unable to sponsor or take over visa sponsorship. Pass a pre‑employment and biennial criminal background checks. Demonstrate the ability to: Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio‑economic characteristics. Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers, and professionals. Work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining emotional control and professional composure at all times. Organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties efficiently. Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position. Work effectively and independently, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team, with minimal supervision. Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures. Comply with the annual influenza vaccination requirement or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption.
