Safety/Environ Coordinator

Job Requirements Work Management: Under the direction of the Site Manager, monitors compliance with applicable safety and environment regulations. Must be fluent in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint). Must be a "Team Player' and have strong work ethics. Minimum of an Associates Degree or 3 years work experience managing an industrial safety program. Applicants with Bachelors or Masters Degree in an ABET accredited Safety program are preferred. Recent or expected graduates are encouraged to apply. Personnel and Staff Development: Administers the attendance and safety incentives for each month. Supports company policies, dress codes, work rules, safety rules, and ethics. Safety and Environmental Coordination: Supports the day to day operation of the Company wide EH&S program. Monitors and documents compliance with applicable OSHA, Federal, State and local laws and regulations. Prepares required reports to corporate headquarters, host steel mills and government agencies if required. Maintains library of safety and environment documentation and revises when necessary.
