Ensure all duties are performed in a timely mannerHire, train and evaluate personnelEstablish and maintain good working relationships with vendorsFollow up on additional work needed on any unit that leaves the shop for outside repairsComply with all Company, DOT and OSHA guidelinesWork within branch environment to increase sales, expand markets and promote businessAssist with performing of difficult or complicated duties as necessaryPlan and prepare work schedules and assign associates to specific dutiesProvide training to new and existing employees on: expectations of position, how to perform duties of position, company policies, safety and other areas as necessaryPerform duties of each position if necessary and other tasks as directed by Area ManagerRequired to assist in mechanical duties as neededMaintain safe, clean and orderly work environmentMust adhere to all company and location policies and safety rulesMust be able to work extended hours when requiredAll other duties as assignedQualifications and Skills:Minimum 5 years hands-on medium and heavy duty diesel truck mechanic and supervisory experienceFlexible with shifts, strong customer focus, meet scheduled deadlinesWorking knowledge of computer diagnostics and shop parts/maintenance softwareMechanical skills requiredEffective leader with strong communication skillsHigh school diploma or higherAbility to work flexible schedule, weekdays, some weekends as requiredCDL license preferredBrake and DOT CertificationJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceApplication Question(s):Are you available to be on call for service calls 24 hours a day 7 days a week?Experience:Diesel Mechanic: 5 years (Required)Supervisory: 5 years (Required)Computer Diagnostic: 5 years (Required)Ability to Relocate:Port Wentworth: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
