Work EnvironmentThis position is onsite at our rehabilitation center, which is designed with the comfort and accessibility of our patients in mind. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists and rehabilitation nurses, in a dynamic and well-organized clinic. Flexible scheduling options allow you to choose between a standard 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm shift, or opt for four 10-hour shifts, providing you with the opportunity to maintain a healthy work-life balance.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities, coordination, strength, and range of motion.Create and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results, integrating patient goals and clinical best practices.Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.Educate patients and their caregivers on techniques and exercises to encourage self-management of conditions and improve overall well-being.Collaborate with other health professionals to create a cohesive approach to patient rehabilitation and recovery.Patient Population / Client FocusIn our rehabilitation center, we cater to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Our focus is on creating a nurturing environment where patients feel empowered and supported throughout their healing journey. By providing personalized treatment, we are committed to improving their functional capabilities and enhancing their quality of life.QualificationsA Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.A valid Florida Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one.Strong communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, caregivers, and team members.Excellent time management skills to handle a diverse caseload efficiently.Preferred ExperienceWhile we require a minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy, candidates with specialized training or experience in pediatrics, geriatrics, or sports rehabilitation will be given priority.
