Night shift, 4x12-Hour schedule (18:45 - 07:15)

/n/nJob Description/n

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience and be proficient in managing patients with a variety of medical conditions.

/n/nResponsibilities/n

/n
- Monitor patients in a telemetry setting, interpreting and managing dysrhythmias.
/n
- Administer blood products and manage central/peripheral lines.
/n
- Provide care and management for bowel obstruction, colostomy/ileostomy, and feeding tubes.
/n
- Conduct pre/post hemodialysis and thoracic surgery care.
/n
- Respond to rapid response/code situations in collaboration with healthcare teams.
/n
- Implement wound care, isolation precautions, and oral suctioning as needed.
/n
- Manage patient care for various diagnoses, including diabetes, COPD, and sepsis.
/n

/n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n

/n
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry unit.
/n
- Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS. ACLS is preferred.
/n
- Proficient in telemetry monitoring and patient management.
/n
- Previous charge experience and community hospital experience are preferred.
/n
