Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and respond to security-related alarms and incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service while helping maintain a welcoming, controlled environment for employees and visitors. Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at an industrial distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor and contractor badges, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Observe access points, loading areas, and perimeter activity through patrols and available monitoring systems, reporting unauthorized activity or irregular conditions.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document daily activities, visitor activity, incidents, and policy violations accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
