Medical Support Assistant (Office Automation)

Job Duties
Perform the full range of receptionist, recordkeeping and miscellaneous clerical duties.
Complete request forms, manually or automated, for individual patient orders, blood work and other patient care and administrative related requests.
Maintain and monitor patient appointment or admission schedules.
Receive patients and visitors as the initial point of contact, in person or telephonically.
Refer urgent messages and patient results for immediate action.
Monitor and communicate delays in scheduled care to the appropriate staff and patients.
Maintain patients' records, both electronic and paper.
