ASD Assessment Psychologist - Part-Time

The role supports communities in North Carolina by conducting vital autism assessments for patients currently facing long waitlists. Your expertise will help bridge the gap in access to essential services, providing hope and support to those who need it most. Join us in our mission to create brighter futures for all. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive autism assessments for children currently facing long waitlists. Utilize standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to evaluate developmental, cognitive, and behavioral aspects. Provide clear and concise assessment reports, including diagnostic impressions and recommendations. Offer guidance and support to families throughout the assessment process. Stay current with best practices and advancements in autism assessment and intervention. Support NC communities through assessments 2-4 days per month. Qualifications Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) with a focus on child psychology or related field OR Pediatric Psychiatrist. NC licensure. Experience in conducting autism assessments and familiarity with standardized assessment tools (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI‑R). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to supporting underserved communities and reducing healthcare disparities.
