Assist customers, set up, maintain and clean the seafood display cases. Clean, fill and rotate the seafood displays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods. Qualifications Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the general public and co-workers. Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees. Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds. Extras Basic PC/Outlook skills Retail Management Certificate The Opportunity Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store with physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling, plus visual and auditory requirements.
