Job Summary

Works under and reports to the School Director in the event there is not a Career Services Director/Manager in the department. The primary responsibility is to ensure that graduates are equipped with the job search skills needed to secure employment and that graduates obtain jobs aligned with their program objectives and field of study. They work in cooperation with the Education Department and administrative staff to provide placement services to graduates and to analyze and provide feedback on graduate and employer satisfaction based on survey results. Should constantly market the programs offered throughout the medical community and actively seek additional externship and placement sites for the students.

Major Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the daily operations, goals, and strategic direction of the Career Services Department.
• Assist in maintaining and implementing departmental policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with CHCP's standards.
• Support the Director(s) with recruitment and development of extern and placement sites, marketing to the medical community, public relations, and advertising efforts.
• Provide students with job search training, including resume development, interview preparation, and professional conduct guidance to support successful employment outcomes.
• Monitor student progress during externship and develop strategic plans for graduate employment upon program completion.
• Offer ongoing placement assistance and job search support until graduates secure employment in their field of study.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, accrediting agency, and institutional regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
• Ensure accurate, organized maintenance of all student and graduate records, including contact logs, resumes, placement verifications, evaluations, and surveys.
• Conduct employer and graduate surveys as required by TWC, DOE, and accrediting bodies; compile and submit related statistics and reports.
• Collaborate with the Education Department to provide feedback on market trends, employment data, and survey findings to inform curriculum and program development.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with students, employers, and the community to promote the value and services of Career Services.
• Participate in new student orientation, staff meetings, and professional development activities relevant to the role.
• Represent CHCP professionally with all employer partners and community.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Career Services and/or Campus President.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED/ 1 year experience as a Placement Coordinator with CHCP Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Outlook, and Word) and data entry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
