Outside Sales Representative

Georgia Western is looking to fill the position of Outside Sales Representative for the Houston, TX territory. Georgia Western is an equal opportunity employer. Duties: Serves customers by selling products and service to meet customer needs Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on all existing or potential sales outlets Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly HubSpot plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational training and establishing personal networks Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Meeting and exceed sale goals Qualifications: 3-5 years Industrial experience in service and new valve and actuator products Basic knowledge with Excel and Microsoft Word Capability to learn new products and present to customer base with accuracy Ability to do lunch and learns on site to customers on new products Capability to do walk downs of multi valve service jobs Ability to multi-task with several customer opportunities at same time Benefits: Competitive Benefits: Enjoy our benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance (among other plans), competitive 401(K) matching program, and paid time off and holidays.
