About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join its leadership team. The CIO will be responsible for the strategic planning, team leadership, technology oversight, cybersecurity, budget management, and direction of the company's Information Technology Services. This includes developing and implementing a comprehensive technology infrastructure strategy, building and leading a high-performance technology team, overseeing the design and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, and managing all IT security protocols. The successful candidate will also be involved in the adoption and integration of academic instructional technologies, as well as researching and implementing emerging technologies to enhance the educational experience. Candidates for the CIO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field, with a preference for an advanced degree. A minimum of ten years' experience in IT leadership, particularly in an educational or independent school setting, is required. The role demands excellent project management, strategic planning, and execution skills, as well as a strong background in a wide range of computer systems and applications. Experience in employee supervision, IT security, and disaster recovery is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of enhancing the learning and teaching process through technology, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrate a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
