Accounts Payable/Acounts Receivable Manager

Job Description The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for managing and guiding the day-to-day operational activities of the company’s accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. This includes developing and directing staff and maintaining and reconciling the AP and AR ledgers to ensure timely and accurate payments. This individual will also be responsible for implementing and ensuring documentation of standard operating procedures to maintain accurate financial records; evaluating inefficiencies and opportunities for cost savings or process improvement and relaying conclusions to management. This is full-time, hybrid opportunity. Responsibilities Managing overall monthly bank account reconciliation, ensuring staff have required statements Assisting with month end activities (ie: financial statement review, AP ledger review, AR) Handling adjusting entries in Sage Intacct Reviewing and/or responding to special customer requests (net terms, voiding orders) Identifying areas for improvement and efficiency by reviewing current process and developing new ones Managing special projects as requested by Co-Directors Supporting finance team with monthly goal objectives Managing a team of 6+ Monitoring aging reports, manage collections and follow up on delinquent accounts Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration 5+ years of experience with knowledge of both accounts payable and receivable 3+ years of strong leadership and direct supervisory experience 2+ years of experience with Sage functions, in particular the “aging” function Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to adapt quickly to the changing demands of a growing software company Excellent planning, analytical and interpersonal skills Benefits and Perks 100% Employee Covered Health Care: Don’t pay a dime for your medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off: Receive paid holidays, vacation, and sick time 401k with Match: Save for the future with our company-matching 401k program World-Class Headquarters: While on-site, enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages, then challenge a friend to a game of pool, table tennis, shuffleboard, or foosball Adjacent Nature Reserve: On-site employees enjoy breathtaking views and adventures that energize and inspire Additional Information At this time, we are unable to offer employment for individuals located outside of the United States and/or those who require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status).
