This role is hands-on and central to developing scalable manufacturing approaches for advanced materials, including ceramic matrix composites (CMCs)./ppYou will serve as a technical anchor on the shop floordriving process development, executing builds, and establishing best practices that enable consistent, repeatable production./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliDevelop and refine layup processes for high-temperature composite materials, including prepreg-based CMC panels/liliExecute hands-on layup, molding, and fabrication activities to support rapid development and testing/liliEstablish and maintain standards for consumables, layup techniques, and shop processes/liliSupport tooling design and fabrication for composite part production/liliPartner with engineering to iterate on materials and process development/liliDocument processes and ensure repeatability as production scales/li/ulh3Basic Qualifications/h3ulli5+ years of experience in composites layup, ideally in aerospace or high-performance applications/liliExperience with high-temperature composite materials/liliHands-on expertise with prepreg layup processes/liliFamiliarity with press molding and/or filament winding/liliExperience supporting or developing manufacturing processes/li/ulh3Preferred Skills and Experience/h3ulliExperience with ceramic matrix composites (CMCs)/liliBackground in tool making for composite parts/liliExperience in RD or early-stage manufacturing environments/liliAbility to operate independently in a fast-paced, low-structure setting/li/ulpAll employees are granted long-term stock incentives as part of their employment as Castelion.
