Senior Fund Accountant

Overview San Francisco, CA | Hybrid Schedule (2 Days in Office) Compensation: $120,000 to $130,000 base salary, plus bonus potential and excellent benefits I'm partnering with a successful and growing real estate investment firm that is looking to add a Senior Fund Accountant to its corporate accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys fund accounting but is looking for more visibility and a chance to be involved in the business. You\'ll work closely with accounting leadership and have exposure to acquisitions, investments, capital markets, investor reporting, and process improvements. This is much more than a traditional month end close role. The company has built a collaborative, down-to-earth culture where people are trusted to do their jobs. They offer a hybrid schedule with only two days a week in the San Francisco office , giving you flexibility while still maintaining strong team collaboration. What you\'ll be doing Manage accounting for investment funds and related entities Prepare investor reporting, capital account statements, capital calls, and distributions Prepare GAAP financial statements and account reconciliations Coordinate annual audits and support tax reporting Partner with the acquisitions, capital markets, and property accounting teams Assist with cash forecasting, management fee calculations, and investment reporting Help improve accounting processes as the company continues to grow What we\'re looking for Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance 2 to 5+ years of accounting experience Experience in fund accounting, real estate, partnerships, or investment accounting is highly preferred CPA or public accounting experience is a plus Someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and working with a collaborative team Why people are interested in this opportunity Hybrid schedule with only 2 days in the office Competitive compensation of $120,000 to $130,000 plus bonus potential High visibility with senior leadership Opportunity to work on investments and strategic initiatives, not just accounting Stable, growing company with long term career growth Friendly, collaborative culture where your ideas are welcomed This search is being conducted on a confidential basis.
