2+ years of Hotel Management Experience Knowledge of Sales Process Team Based Selling Experience Knowledge of Hotel Special Corp and BT Pricing Reaching out to customer to solicit new and repeat sales opportunities Conducts day to day activities related to sales with a focus on building long term value based customer relationships Achieve Sales Revenue Goals as assigned to role Conducts site inspections on property as an opportunity to close business Represents the hotel at Trade Shows and industry events – including travel Responsible for generating proposals, writing contracts and customer correspondence Uses negotiation skills to creatively close business Manages Special Corp pricing for Hotel Handles Customer inquires and lead requests for Group Sales getting leads to the proper channel. Works with customers to align customer preference and with brand needs and actively upsells. Maximizes Hotel loyalty in sell process Maximize Revenue through strong understanding of hotel strategies Demonstrates excellent selling skills, strong commination skills and a detailed understanding of hotel operations Works collaboratively with other sales channels ie Area Sales, Sales office, CVB Understands market including the strength and weaknesses of competitors and how to sell against them Transfers accurate complete and timely information to departments including turnovers Relationship Selling Builds and maintains strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Drives customer loyalty through excellent customer service throughout the sales process Serves the customer by understanding their needs and recommending appropriate features and services that best meet their needs Builds and strong relationships with new customers to enable repeat future programs Establishes clear expectations for customers and properties throughout the sales process Effectively resolve guest issues that arise as a result of the sales process
