Delivery Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $17.87 - $24.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses, and premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Essential Job Functions Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently. Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Keep delivery vehicles clean, well‑maintained, and perform daily vehicle inspections before operating. Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies at all times. Collect cash on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slips. Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately. Ensure fuel is topped off, lock and secure vehicles at the end of each day. Clock in/out according to company policy. Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, receiving stock orders, and assisting customers as needed. Skills, Education, and Experience Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Adaptability to changing delivery situations. Driving record meeting the company’s 14/18‑point standard. Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company‑mandated driving eligibility requirements. Familiarity with automotive parts (desired). Ability to operate other light store equipment (desired). Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish (highly desired).
