Associate - Corporate Communications, Marketing & Brand

Position Overview Apollo is a high‑growth, global alternative asset manager that seeks to provide clients excess return across the risk‑reward spectrum from investment grade to private equity with a focus on yield, hybrid, and equity. Apollo also operates Athene, a retirement services business dedicated to helping clients achieve financial security. The role is a strategic, detail‑oriented associate focused on Apollo’s integrated Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Brand organization. Primary Responsibilities Drive strategic initiatives and serve as the primary project‑management resource across the Communications, Marketing, and Brand function—owning timelines, tracking deliverables, maintaining project plans, and ensuring accountability across stakeholders. Build high‑quality materials, including presentations, frameworks, and internal reports in PowerPoint. Act as an integrative “air traffic control” resource across the team, connecting workstreams, surfacing dependencies, and proactively flagging execution risks. Establish and manage clear workflows for cross‑functional initiatives, bringing structure to loosely defined priorities and enabling consistency across corporate marketing and the broader team’s strategy. Manage corporate marketing projects, events, and campaigns, partnering with internal stakeholders (legal, compliance, business partners) and external vendors (creative agencies, consultants, media buyers). Support the end‑to‑end execution of Apollo’s corporate content engine—coordinating production, distribution, and editorial workflows across written, video, and digital formats. Qualifications & Experience 3–5 years of relevant experience within Corporate Communications or Marketing organizations, especially in the financial services sector. Strong project‑management skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and drive work forward under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail. Sound judgment and high integrity, with a track record of building trust and collaborating effectively. Resourceful problem‑solver, adaptable, and solutions‑oriented with a willingness to learn and operate in a fast‑paced environment. Entrepreneurial, creative, and self‑motivated critical thinker, able to work independently and as part of a team. Exceptional PowerPoint skills, with the ability to build polished, executive‑level materials from scratch. Experience communicating across multiple platforms, content types, and technologies.
