Senior Business Consultant

The Senior Business Consultant will support a strategic initiative aimed at transforming logistics operations and achieving long-term optimization goals. This multi-year program focuses on modernizing the Commercial Line of Business (LOB) through automated route optimization, enhancing same-day execution capabilities, and developing coaching tools for Route Managers and Drivers. The consultant will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable data solutions to support these objectives. Key Responsibilities Design, build, test, and implement data pipelines and integrations with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse in alignment with best practices and organizational policies. Support end-user testing and ensure successful deployment of data solutions. Assist in data validation, quality assurance, and analysis activities. Contribute to the development of automated route optimization and capacity planning tools. Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the driver/coach experience and support ecosystem improvements. Apply continuous improvement principles to drive value across logistics operations. Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience implementing and operationalizing large-scale data solutions in production environments. Proficiency in designing performant data pipelines using technologies such as Python, Java, Scala, and modern data integration frameworks. Strong understanding of cloud and on-premises data environments. Experience with data replication using Qlik. Hands-on expertise with Snowflake, Oracle, SQL, and dbt. Knowledge of best practices in reporting, data integrity, validation, and analysis. Preferred Qualifications Experience in logistics or supply chain optimization projects.
