We have Contract role R&D Engineer for client at Minnetonka, MN. Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be interested in this position.

Position Details:

R&D Engineer- Minnetonka, MN

Location : 14901 De Veau Place - B2, Minnetonka, MN - 55345

Project Duration : 6 Months of contract (Possibility of Extension depending upon performance)

Shift Timing : 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Mon to Fri)

Pay Rate : $40.00 per hour on W2

Position Overview:

Seeking an R&D Engineer contractor with 1-3 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree.

Preferred degrees:
• Mechanical Engineering
• Biomedical Engineering
• Electrical and Software Engineering backgrounds may also be considered if the candidate is a strong fit.
• Role is primarily focused on Process Development, despite the R&D Engineer title.

Key Responsibilities:

Process validations:
• IQ (Installation Qualification)
• OQ (Operational Qualification)
• PQ (Performance Qualification)
• Equipment design and development.

Technical writing:
• Manufacturing Procedures (MPs)
• Technical reports
• SOP documentation
• Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Process characterization and data analysis.
• Cross-functional collaboration with:
• R&D
• Quality Engineering (QE)
• Manufacturing Engineering (ME)
• Operations

Required/Preferred Technical Skills
• CAD software experience is highly desirable.
• Strong technical writing/documentation skills.
• Statistical analysis experience preferred:
• Minitab experience is a plus.
• cademic exposure to statistical tools is acceptable.
• Medical device industry experience preferred, including internships.
• Quality management/documentation systems experience (TrackWise, electronic lab notebooks, Master Control, etc.) is not required.
• Product/Industry Focus
• Work will be focused on catheter delivery systems.
• Processes involve:
• ssembly operations
• UV curing
• Mechanical assembly processes

Candidate Profile:
• Recent graduates with internship experience.
• Candidates with master's degrees if within max bill rate.
• R&D and Product Development backgrounds are welcomed but not required.
