Job Opportunity: General Pediatrician

We are excited to announce an opening for a General Pediatrician to become part of our vibrant pediatric practice located in Port Jefferson, NY. Join our expanding network of over 3,000 healthcare professionals across Suffolk, Nassau, and Queens Counties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the health status of patients and their families through thorough health histories and physical examinations.
• Initiate appropriate therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, consultations, and laboratory tests; prescribe or modify medication regimens; interpret results and adjust care plans in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and established protocols.
• Provide education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and the management of both acute and chronic conditions.
• Document findings and care plans in the patient's medical records.
• Ensure continuity of care by developing and implementing comprehensive patient management strategies.
• Conduct timely patient record reviews with collaborating physicians.
• Advocate for patients and their families, upholding their rights.
• Stay updated on current practices and advancements in the field.
• Serve as a resource and leader for staff members.

Qualifications:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Pediatrics; residents are encouraged to apply.
• Valid New York State medical license.
• Active DEA license.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $132,485 - $321,982 . This range is a good faith estimate and actual compensation will depend on various factors, including education, training, skills, licensure, certification, competencies, and relevant experience. Please note that this range does not include bonuses, incentive pay, or other forms of compensation, nor does it account for the value of benefits.
