The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Shift Details Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Assignment Length: 13 weeks Weekends: Every other weekend required Call Requirements: Yes Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Unit and Experience Requirements Candidate must have at least 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience and be proficient in the following: PALS or ENPC certification ACLS certification BLS certification TNCC certification NIHSS certification (required) Preferred Skills CEN certification Strong teamwork and communication skills Experience with Meditech documentation systems Procedures Performed on Unit Conscious Sedation Participation in Intubations Behavioral Health Watch Sepsis Management Stroke Management (TPA administration) Chest Pain Management (Heart Alerts) Dress Code All nurses are expected to adhere to the following dress code guidelines: Scrub Color: Navy (undershirts and jackets in white, navy, or black only) Nail Policy: No acrylic nails or chipped nail polish, nails should be clean and no longer than ¼ inch Hair: Should be off shoulders and dyed in natural colors only Tattoos: Must be covered whenever possible; non-coverable tattoos will be addressed individually Piercings: Visible piercings (other than ears) are prohibited Additional Guidelines/Policies Floating Guidelines Acknowledgment Form Attendance Policies Location San Antonio, TX We welcome applications from qualified candidates eager to contribute to a collaborative and professional environment focused on patient-centered care.
