Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 24, 2026, through July 15, 2027, with multiple openings available. Work alongside a dynamic team focused on Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students, providing vital communication access and classroom support.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid certification/licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter
• Prior experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of Deaf culture and DHH communication needs
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, DHH specialists, and staff
• Professional references and proof of licensure required for interview consideration

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate effective communication between DHH students, staff, and peers using sign language interpretation
• Support access to both classroom instruction and activities as a member of the educational team
• Collaborate regularly with DHH professionals and other support staff to address student learning needs
