Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract role offers the chance to collaborate with a dedicated team focused on serving students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH), alongside other passionate educators and classroom support professionals.
Multiple full-time positions are available, with the school year anticipated to run from August 24, 2026, through July 15, 2027, depending on the specific school placement. The caseload will be determined upon assignment, and your placement will be guided by your preferences and home area, ensuring an optimal match for your skills and location.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter, with current licensure and professional experience supporting DHH students
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary educational team
- Flexibility and adaptability to adjust interpreting strategies to meet varied student needs and settings
- Strong ethical standards, confidentiality, and commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
- Experience in educational settings is highly valued
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time sign language interpretation services for students and staff in the classroom and during school activities
- Support clear, equitable communication and facilitate participation for DHH students across instructional settings
- Collaborate with educators, DHH specialists, and support staff to ensure individual student needs are met
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accurate records as required
