Microbiologist

Eurofins seeks a Microbiologist to perform pharmaceutical and cosmetic testing in a regulated laboratory environment. The role involves executing sterility tests, endotoxin assays, microbial limits testing, and related analyses while maintaining cGMP compliance and accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform sterility tests, LAL endotoxin assays, and microbial limits testing per USP and FDA guidelines
- Conduct routine quality control of laboratory equipment, media, and microorganisms
- Record test results accurately and prepare technical reports with data analysis
- Monitor sample tracking, storage, and disposal; maintain cleanroom environment
- Identify deviations and nonconformities; recommend corrective and preventative actions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related life science
- 3–7 years performing microbiological tests on pharmaceuticals and cosmetics
- 3 years experience with GMP, ISO, and USP standards
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment: microscopes, autoclaves, membrane filtration, endotoxin readers
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Capacity to lift up to 30 pounds and work with hazardous chemicals
Compensation: $60,000–$65,000 base depending on experience
