Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Our Emergency Department (ED) RN is responsible for providing immediate, high-quality care to patients with urgent health conditions. They must be skilled in assessing diverse cases, including trauma, mental health, and physical injuries, ensuring timely intervention and safety.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate incoming patients rapidly to determine the severity of their condition.
  
  
• 
  Implement appropriate nursing interventions based on comprehensive assessments.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to develop and execute patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and emergency procedures accurately and safely.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
  
  
• 
  Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff to facilitate understanding and coordinated care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Must have a minimum of 18 months of recent ED nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Current NJ State Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
  
  
• 
  Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and Telemetry certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive assessments and emergency interventions.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse populations.
