Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and rehabilitation needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the patient care team.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities to provide treatments that may include exercises, manual therapy, and functional training, aimed at optimizing recovery outcomes.
• Document patient progress, ensuring accurate and timely updates to treatment plans in compliance with organizational protocols and legal requirements.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home exercise programs, enabling them to participate actively in their own rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans based on patient response and feedback, ensuring a responsive approach to care.
• Effectively prioritize caseloads, manage daily patient assignments, and coordinate with fellow team members to ensure efficient operations within the facility.
• Stay abreast of industry advancements and incorporate new therapeutic practices into patient care to enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Body Rehab Solutions, you will work primarily with adult and pediatric patients who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and general mobility impairments. Your expertise will be crucial in designing personalized rehabilitation protocols that ensure each patient receives tailored care aimed at restoring their functional abilities and improving their overall health.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license to practice in California.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of employment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively relay complex information in an understandable manner.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient therapy setting is preferred but not mandatory, as new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient progress and treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits
