Locum Oncologist Opportunity in Rhode Island

The Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Rhode Island is seeking a Board-Certified Oncologist to provide locum coverage for its veteran patient population. Candidate Requirements:

Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent, from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school.

• Accreditation must be through one of the following:
• Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA)
• Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) / Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME)
• Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
• Or another accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time of degree completion
• Licensure: Must hold a current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Physician from any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia
• Board Certification: Oncology Required
• Experience: Must meet education, certification, and experience requirements as stated in the VA Performance Work Statement (PWS)
• U.S. Citizenship or Work Authorization: Required
