Role Description The Paralegal position at Jordan Holmes Law, P.A. is a part-time, hybrid role based in Orlando, FL. The Paralegal will support attorneys with case management by preparing and organizing documents such as subpoenas, Notices of Hearings, deposition coordination, discovery organization, and maintaining client files. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting Attorneys managing deadlines by inputting court dates, organization of discovery, making phone calls, etc. The role also involves frequent communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel, scheduling meetings and hearings, and ensuring that case-related information is accurately recorded and updated. The Paralegal will work closely with the Attorneys to support trial preparation and contribute to the overall efficiency of the firm’s legal operations. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; college education or continuing college education preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Word Proficiency (or ability to learn) how to use Canva and other apps for assistance with social media posts. Clear, professional Communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, court staff, and external parties. Experience working in a law firm or legal setting, particularly in litigation or the firm’s practice areas, is beneficial. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines. Learned proficiency with case management software, as well as standard office applications. Commitment to confidentiality, ethical conduct, and professional client service. Proficiency in Spanish language preferred but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
